Company workship - package 1

COMPANY WORKSHOP – LEVEL 1 - ONE DAY POWER SESSION:

MORNING:

Management/staff introduction to training program

Evaluation of staff:  One-on-one interviews with staff members to determine their communication level, style, and goals.

  • Training session:  all staff – why we communicate like we do, what we can use as communication tools, the top-ten TV message secrets, how to make a giant leap quickly.  Enjoyable and dynamic session using numerous video examples and interactive techniques.

Based on Vasconi’s “Say What?” book – given to each participant along with audio CD.

  • Training session:  How to develop a powerful presentation (customized for the client’s needs)

May include, power writing, electronic techniques, personal presentation, Powerpoint, etc.

  • Supervised staff assignment:  Develop a 5-minute sales presentation on a topic within their level

AFTERNOON:

  • Individual on-camera presentations by each staff before the group.

Includes class discussion on elements of effectiveness

Comments about improvements

Each participant gets a DVD of their presentation.  Option:  management receives copy of each presentation.

Management to get report on training and student progress

  • Wrap-up session:

Overview of the training, review of elements, how to keep progress continuing.

COMPANY DELUXE PACKAGE – 2 DAY POWER SESSIONS:  ON SITE/ELECTRONIC

  • Intended for upper level management – problem solving, communication improvement, management styles, effectiveness training, development of teams, restructuring of procedures.
  • 2 DAY SESSION with Gene Vasconi and assistant instructor.  This package provides more personalized attention.

  • Expanded use of video evaluation and critiques.
  • PLUS:  Includes one 15 minute telephone follow-up call with each participant (1 per week) (4 weeks)

  • Concentrated on effective message creation technique and maximizing presentation style.  Plus, media self-defense and upper level solving, communication improvement, management styles, effectiveness training, development of teams, restructuring of procedures.
  • 3 total days individualized training (days can be spread over one month) featuring Gene Vasconi and additional instructors.
  • 5 one-hour coaching conferences as needed

Example:  Targeted presentation:

Power training day 1:   Development of presentation concepts, effective use of support materials, strategies, goals.  Integration of television techniques for maximum communication effectiveness. 

Power training day 2:  Compressing the material for effect.  Establishment of power presentation rules.  On-camera presentation(s) with video evaluation.  Critiques and development of improvements.  Re-structuring and refining of presentation(s). 

Power training day 3:  Advanced presentation techniques review.  Second video recording of revised and corrected presentation.  Final adjustments and lock in elements.  Third video recording of presentation.

Wrap-up session.
